\n Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Abu Hammam who said, \n \u2018I said to Al-Reza -asws , \u2018A man happens to have the debt upon him, and something presents itself to him, should he pay off his debt or perform Hajj?\u2019 He -asws said: \u2018He should pay off part of it and perform Hajj with part of it\u2019.

I said, \u2018Supposing it does not happen to be except a quantity for expenditure of the Hajj?\u2019 So he -asws said: \u2018He should pay off one year, and he should perform Hajj following year\u2019. So I said, \u2018(Supposing if) the wealth is given from the Sultan (ruling authority)?\u2019 He -asws said: \u2018There is no problem upon you\u2019.

[23] \n It is not necessary that a lady should be accompanied by a \u2018Mehhram\u2019 [24] for Hajj, as she could go in the company of trustworthy and reliable people if peaceful and safe conditions persist.
