Abu Haris the Bishop said, \u2018By Allah -azwj ! He -saww knelt just as the Prophets -as tend to kneel for the imprecation\u2019. So, he returned and did not come forward for the imprecation. The chief said to him, \u2018Approach, O Haris, for the imprecation\u2019.

He said, \u2018No, I see a man who is bold upon the imprecation and I fear that he -saww would happen to be truthful, and if he -saww was truthful, then the year would not turn upon us, by Allah -azwj , and in the world there would be any Christian eating (and drinking) the water\u2019.
