This question is frequently posed by those who neither believe in the concepts of \u2018\u0627\u0644\u0652\u0648\u064e\u0633\u0650\u064a\u0644\u064e\u0629\u064e\u2019, \u2018\u0627\u0644\u0634\u0651\u064e\u0641\u064e\u0627\u0639\u064e\u0629\u064f\u2019 (assistance and intercession) nor in presence of martyred [1] – that if one can invoke for help ( Wasila ) someone other than Allah -azwj .\u00a0 Is that going to fall under the polytheism (Shirk)?\u00a0 This is a centuries\u2019 old question and has been answered several times – in essence it is indeed Shrik when one seeks assistance from the \u2018Ghair\u2019 (enemy) of Allah -azwj but not so when one asks for help from those nominated by Allah -azwj (the friends of Allah).\u00a0 There are several tasks reported in the Holy Quran, in which Allah -azwj has Liked that some of the Tasks should be Performed by His -azwj Angels -as and Prophets -as on His -azwj behalf.

\n There are several holy Verses in the Quran advocating the concept of \u2018 Wasila \u2019 both in the world as well as in the Hereafter.\u00a0 We present those Verses here, clearly indicating that one can say \u2018Ya Rasool Allah\u2019, \u2018Ya Ali\u2019 \u2018Ya Hassan\/Hussain\u2019, without any fear of being committing \u2018Shrik\u2019 but considering it not only permissible but also as per the Wish and Will of Allah -azwj .

\u00a0The Verses which are condemning those who take self-made \u2018 Wasila \u2019 from the enemies of Allah -azwj are also given in Appendix I.

\n Also, some of those who only rely on Holy Quran, believe that \u2018means of approaching Allah -azwj \u2019 ( Wasila ) is only through one\u2019s good deeds\u2019.\u00a0 In this article, through some of the Holy Verses, an attempt is made to under the issue of \u2018Wasila\u2019 and \u2018Shifait\u2019 (assistance and intersession) based on Holy Verses of Quran.
