\n Al-Husayn Bin Zayd said, \u2018So I said to Ja\u2019far -asws Bin Muhammad -asws , \u2018It has been reported other than this, and you (Imams -asws ) are not lying?\u2019 He -asws said: \u2018Yes. Allah -azwj the Exalted Said in the Decisive (Verses) of His -azwj Book And when your Lord said to the Angels: I am going to Make a Caliph in the earth [2:30] \u2013 so Adam -as was the first Caliph of Allah -azwj . And O Dawood !

We have Made you a Caliph in the earth [38:26] \u2013 So Dawood -as was the second.
