He -saww enjoins them to do good and forbids them to do all that is unlawful, makes lawful for them all that is pure and makes unlawful all that is filthy, removes their burdens and the entanglements in which they are involved. Those who believe in him, honour and help him, and follow the \u2018Noor\u2019 which is sent down to him, will have everlasting happiness.\u2019 (7: 157).

The Imam -asws said: \u2018It is Ali -asws (Amir-ul-Momineen -asws ), and \u2018A\u2019immah -asws after him -asws who are called \u2018Noor\u2019 in the above Verse of the Holy Quran\u2019.
