On the 8th of Rabi-ul Awwal he -asws asked his son, the 12th Imam -asws , to bring him some water and then leave him.

Imam -asws left for the better world on that day and was given ‘Ghusl & Kafan’ by Imam -asws ‘s son, the 12th Imam -ajfj .
