So he -asws said: \u2018The Prophet -saww used to pray eight Rak\u2019at at midday, and four of the first ( Al-Zohr ) and eight ( Rak\u2019at ) after it, and four ( Rak\u2019at ) of Al-Asr , and three ( Rak\u2019at of Maghrib), and four ( Rak\u2019at ) after Al-Maghrib , and Al-Isha the last being four ( Rak\u2019at ), and eight ( Rak\u2019at ) at night, and three ( Rak\u2019at ) of Al- Witr , and two ( Rak\u2019at ) of Al-Fajr , and the morning Sal\u0101t as two Rak\u2019at \u2019.

\n I said, \u2018May I be sacrificed for you -asws ! And if I was strong enough upon more than this, would Allah -azwj Punish me upon the more Sal\u0101ts ?\u2019 So he -asws said: \u2018No, but He -azwj would Punish upon neglecting the Sunnah\u2019.
