So it was grievous upon them. If it turns out that it is difficult upon you what you are being Commanded with, so it is not (Obligatory) upon you that you should be doing it; and if it is difficult upon you what we are prohibiting you from, so it is not upon you that you should be leaving it and be indulging in it \u2013 this \u2013 and they were knowing (full well) that they, by this speech of theirs, were lying. get their sympathy, and they are refraining with it from their secrets. And are the generality of the Jews except like our own general people (Muslims), being in the Taqleed of their priests?
