[1] The name of Sura 26 comes from the 26:224, where the allegation is refuted that the Quran is the work of a poet. \n \u2018From Abu Abdullah -asws having said: \u2018As for the first call from the sky with the name of Al-Qaim -ajfj, it is clear in the Book of Allah -azwj \u2019. I said, \u2018Where is it? May Allah -azwj Keep you -asws well!\u2019 \n He -asws said: \u2018In Ta Sin Meem [26:1] These are the Verses of the Clarifying Book [26:2] (Surah Shuara). His -azwj Words: If We Desired to, We would Send down upon them a Sign from the sky, so their necks would be humbled to it [26:4] \u2019. \n He -asws said: \u2018When they hear the voice, they would become such as if there are birds upon their heads (standing still)\u2019\u2019. [2] \n \u2018I heard Abu Ja\u2019far -asws saying regarding Words of the Exalted: If We Desired to, We would Send down upon them a Sign from the sky, so their necks would be humbled to it [26:4].\u00a0 He -asws said: \u2018Allah -azwj will be Doing that with them\u2019. I said, \u2018Who are they?\u2019 He -asws said: \u2018Clan of Umayya and their loyalists\u2019. \n He (the narrator) said, \u2018I said, \u2018And what is the sign?\u2019 He -asws said: \u2018Stoppage of the sun from between midday to the time of Al-Asr, and emergence of a chest of a man and his face in the eyes of the sun. His affiliation and his lineage would be known, and that would be during the time of Al-Sufyani, and at that would be his ruination and ruination of his people\u2019\u2019. [3] \n \u2018From Abu Ja\u2019far -asws having said: \u2018Amir Al-Momineen -asws, may the greetings be upon him -asws, was asked about Words of the Exalted: But the parties disagreed from between them, [19:37]. He -asws said: \u2018Await the relief from three\u2019. I (it was) said, \u2018O Amir Al-Momineen -asws! And what are these?\u2019 \n He -asws said: \u2018Differing of the people of Syria between them, and the black flags from Khurasan, and the panic in a month of Ramazan\u2019. It was said, \u2018And what is the panic in a month of Ramazan?\u2019 \n He -asws said: \u2018Have you nor heard the Words of Allah -azwj Mighty and Majestic in the Quran? If We Desired to, We would Send down upon them a Sign from the sky, so their necks would be humbled to it [26:4] \u2013 the Verse. The youthful girls will come out from their rooms, and the sleeping ones would wake up, and the wakeful ones would panic\u2019\u2019. [4] \n \u2018From Abu Ja\u2019far -asws having said: \u2018I asked him -asws about Words of Allah -azwj Mighty and Majestic: If We Desired to, We would Send down [26:4] \u2013 the Verse. He -asws said: \u2018It was Revealed regarding Qaim -ajfj of Progeny -asws of Muhammad -saww. He -ajfj will be called by his -ajfj name from the sky\u2019\u2019. [5] \n \u2018From Abu Abdullah -asws having said: \u2018Amir Al-Momineen -asws said: \u2018Await the relief regarding three\u2019. It was said, \u2018And what are these?\u2019 \n He -asws said: \u2018Differing of the people of Syrian between them, and the black flags from Khurasan, and the panic in a month of Ramazan\u2019. It was said, \u2018And what is the panic in a month of Ramazan?\u2019 \n He -asws said: \u2018Have you not heard the Words of Allah -azwj Mighty and Majestic: If We Desired to, We would Send down upon them a Sign from the sky, so their necks would be humbled to it [26:4] \u2019. \n He -asws said: \u2018The young girls would come out from their rooms, and the sleeping one would wake up, and the wakeful one would panic\u2019\u2019. [6] \n See, Appendix I for a detailed Hadeeth. \n \u2018From Abu Abdullah -asws having said: \u2018For Master -ajfj of this command there will be an occultation. It would be said during it, So I fled from you when I feared you. Then my Lord Granted me Wisdom and Made me to be from the Rasools [26:21] \u2019\u2019. [7] \n \u2018From Al-Baqir -asws having said: \u2018When our -asws Qaim -ajfj, of People -asws of the Household appears, he -ajfj would say: So I fled from you when I feared you. Then my Lord Granted me Wisdom and Made me to be from the Rasools [26:21]. I -ajfj feared upon myself -ajfj and I -ajfj have come to you when my -ajfj Lord -azwj Permitted for me -ajfj and Corrected my -ajfj matter for me -ajfj \u2019\u2019. [8] \n Al-Mamoun Rashid (Abbasid Caliph) asked from Imam Al-Reza -asws (during a debate on the Infallibility of the Prophets -as ), \u2018May Allah -azwj Recompense you -as good from His -azwj Prophets -as, O Abu Al-Hassan -asws, So what is the meaning of the words of Musa -as to Pharaoh -la: He said: \u2018I did it then when I was from the straying ones [26:20]?\u2019 \n Al-Reza -asws said: \u2018Pharaoh -la said to Musa -as, when he -as came to him -la, \u2018 And you did that deed of yours which you did, and you are from the ungrateful ones\u2019 [26:19], to me -la. \n Musa -as said: \u2018 He said: \u2018I did it then when I was from the straying ones [26:20], having strayed off the road, by staying in one of your cities, So I fled from you when I feared you. Then my Lord Granted me Wisdom and Made me to be from the Rasools [26:21] \u2019\u2019. [9] \n \u2018Abu Abdullah -asws said: \u2018O Abu Muhammad! With us -asws there are such secrets from the Secrets of Allah -azwj, and knowledge from the Knowledge of Allah -azwj, neither an Angel of Proximity bear it, nor a Messenger Prophet -as, nor a Momin who heart Allah -azwj has Tested for the Eman. \n By Allah -azwj! Allah -azwj has not Encumbered anyone with carrying that apart from us -asws, nor did He -azwj Entrust anyone with that apart from us -asws. \n And with us -asws there are such secrets from Secrets of Allah -azwj, and knowledge from the Knowledge of Allah -azwj, Allah -azwj had Commanded us -asws with delivering it. So we -asws delivered on behalf of Allah -azwj Mighty and Majestic what He -azwj had Commanded us with delivering it. \n We -asws neither found a place for it, nor a rightful one, nor a bearer to bear it, until (such time as) Allah -azwj Created a people for them, Created from the clay Muhammad -saww and his -saww offspring had been Created from, and from the Noor Allah -azwj Created Muhammad -saww and his -saww offspring had been Created from, and Made them with the remnants of Mercy He -azwj had Made Muhammad -saww from. \n We -asws delivered to them on behalf of Allah -azwj Mighty and Majestic what we -asws had been Commanded with delivering it, and they accepted it and bore that, and we -asws delivered that to them on our -asws behalf and they accepted it and bore it; and we -asws delivered our -asws Zikr to them and their hearts inclined to our -asws recognition and our -asws Ahadeeth. \n Had they not been Created from this, they would not have been like that, and no by Allah -azwj, they would not have tolerated it. \n Then he -asws said: \u2018Allah -azwj Created a people for Hell and the Fire, so He -azwj Commanded us -asws to deliver to them just as we -asws had delivered to them, but they were constricted from that and their hearts were alienated, and they rejected upon us -asws and did not tolerate it, and they belied it and they said, \u2018(He is) a lying magician!\u2019 [40:24], so Allah Sealed upon their hearts, so they don\u2019t know [9:93], and their tongues of that. \n Then Allah -azwj Freed their tongues with some of the truth, so they are speaking with it, while their hearts are in denial, for that to become a defence from His -azwj friend and people of His -azwj obedience. And had it not been that, Allah -azwj would not have been worshipped in His -azwj earth. \n We -asws instructed with the refraining from them, and the concealment from them. Therefore conceal from the ones Allah -azwj has Commanded with the refraining from, and veil from the ones Allah -azwj has Commanded with the veiling and the concealment from. \n He (the narrator) said, \u2018Then he -asws raised his -asws hand and cried and said: \u2018O Allah -azwj! \u2018They are a small group [26:54], so Make their lives to be our -asws lives, and their deaths to be our -asws deaths, and do not Let enemies of Yours -azwj to overcome upon them, so we -asws would end up being agonised by them, for if You -azwj were to let (them to) overcome us -asws, You -azwj will not be worshipped in Your -azwj earth, ever!\u2019\u2019 [10] \n Ali -asws said to a Jew regarding the miracles of Rasool Allah -saww (in addition to what were manifested by Prophet Musa -as ): \n \u2018It was like that, and Muhammad -saww was Given what is superior than this. We went out with him -saww to (the battle of) Hunayn, and there we were by a flowing valley and we measured it and it was of fourteen statures deep. They said, \u2018O Rasool-Allah -saww! The enemy is from behind us and the valley is in front of us\u2019, just as the companions of Musa said, \u2018We are being overtaken\u2019 [26:61] \u2019. \n Rasool-Allah -saww descended, then said: \u2018O Allah -azwj! You -azwj Made evidence to be for every Messenger -as, so Show me -saww Your -azwj Power!\u2019 and he -saww rode and the horse crossed over without dampening its hooves, and (also) the camels did not dampen their feet. We returned and our victory was a (complete) victory\u2019. [11] \n Tafseer of the Imam (Hassan Al-Askari -asws ) \u2013 \u2018The Imam -asws said: \u2018When Musa – as ended up to the sea, Allah – azwj Mighty and Majestic Revealed unto him – as: \u201cSay to the Children of Israel: \u2018Renew My – azwj Tawheed (Oneness), and instruct your hearts to mention Muhammad – saww, the Chief of My – azwj servants and My – azwj maids, and prepare upon yourself the Wilayah of Ali – asws, brother of Muhammad – saww, and his – saww goodly Progeny – asws, and be saying: \u2018O Allah – azwj! By their – asws virtue, Make us cross upon the back of this water\u2019, so the water would be transformed for you all as land\u201d. \n Musa – as said that to them, and they said: \u2018Are you – as implementing upon us what we dislike, and did we flee from the people of Pharaoh – la except out of fear of death (in the first place)? And you – as want to invade this water with us to be immersing in it with these words? And what are you – as intending what would be occurring upon us, from this?\u2019 \n Kalb Bin Yohanna said to Musa – as, and he was upon a horse of his, and that gulf was of four Farsakhs (approximately 24 kilometres), \u2018O Prophet – as of Allah – azwj! Allah – azwj Commands you – as with this that we should be saying and entering the water?\u2019 He – as said: \u2018Yes\u2019. \n He said, \u2018Are you – as ordering me with it?\u2019 He – as said: \u2018Yes\u2019. \n He – asws said: \u2018So he paused and renewing upon himself the Tawheed of Allah – azwj, and the Prophet-hood of Muhammad – saww, and the Wilayah of Ali – asws Bin Abu Talib – asws, and the goodly ones – asws from their Progeny – asws, what he had been instructed with. Then he said, \u2018O Allah – azwj! By their – asws virtue, Cause me to cross upon the back of this water!\u2019 Then he spurred his horse and galloped upon the back of the water, and the water from beneath him was like the soft ground, until he reached the end of the gulf. \n Then he returned galloping, then said to the Children of Israel, \u2018O Children of Israel! Obey Musa – as, for this supplication is nothing except keys to the doors of the Gardens, and locks upon the doors of the Fires, and descended of the sustenance, and a fetcher upon the servants of Allah – azwj and His – azwj maids of the Mercy of the Beneficent, the Compeller, the Creator\u2019. But they refused, and said, \u2018We will not travel except upon the ground\u2019. \n Allah – azwj Revealed unto Musa – as Strike the sea with your staff [26:63] and say: \u2018O Allah – azwj! By the virtue of Muhammad – saww and his – saww goodly Progeny – asws, part it!\u2019 So, he – as did, and it parted, and the ground appeared up to the end of the gulf. Musa – as said: \u2018Enter it!\u2019 They said: \u2018The ground is soggy. We fear that we might get bogged down in it\u2019. \n Allah – azwj Mighty and Majestic Said: \u2018O Musa – as! O Allah – azwj! By the virtue of Muhammad – saww and his – saww goodly Progeny – asws, Dry it!\u2019 He – as said it, and Allah – azwj Sent the Al-Saba wind over it, and it dried out\u2019. And Musa – as said: \u2018Enter it!\u2019 \n They said: \u2018O Prophet – as of Allah – azwj! We are twelve tribes or twelve fathers, and if we enter, every group of us would want to precede the other, and we are not safe from the occurrence of evil between us. If only there was a path for every group of us to tread upon, we would be safe from what we fear\u2019. \n Allah – azwj Commanded Musa – as that he – as strike the sea with their number, twelve strikes in twelve (different) places, to the side of that place, and he – as should be saying: \u2018O Allah – azwj! By the virtue of Muhammad – saww and his – saww goodly Progeny – asws! Expose the ground for us and pattern the water from us\u2019. \n So there came to be in it, twelve complete paths, and the surface of the ground was dried out by the Al-Saba wind, and he – as said: \u2018Enter it!\u2019. They said, \u2018Every group of us would enter a path from these paths not knowing what is happening upon the others\u2019. \n Allah – azwj Mighty and Majestic Said: \u201cStrike each mountain of water, a path between this\u2019. He – as struck and said, \u2018O Allah – azwj! By the virtue of Muhammad – saww and his – saww goodly Progeny – asws! Make a vast opening to be in this water, so some of them can see the others from it\u2019. So openings occurred, vast enough from some of them to see the others from it. Then they entered it. \n When they reached the end of it, Pharaoh – la came over with his – as people. Some of them entered. When the last of them had entered, and they were the first ones with the exiting, Allah – azwj the Exalted Commanded the sea, and it formed Layers upon them, and they drowned while the companions of Musa – as were looking at them. That is the Word of Allah – azwj Mighty and Majestic and We Drowned the People of Pharaoh and you were looking on \u2013 at them. \n Allah – azwj Mighty and Majestic Said to the Children of Israel regarding the era of Musa – as: \u201cSo when Allah – azwj Exalted Did all of this with your ancestors for the prestige of Muhammad – saww, and the supplication of Musa – as \u2013 and he – as supplicated to be closer to Allah – azwj through them – asws \u2013 are you not using your intellect that upon you is to believe in Muhammad – saww and his – saww Progeny – asws now, when you have witnessed it?\u201d\u2019 [12] \n \u2018From Abu Ja\u2019far -asws regarding Mighty and Majestic: and your group of sincere ones! [26:214], he -asws said: \u2018Ali -asws, and Hamza -asws, and Ja\u2019far -asws, and Al-Hassan -asws, and Al-Husayn -asws, and Progeny -asws of Muhammad -saww in particular\u2019\u2019. [13] \n \u2018From Ja\u2019far -asws Bin Muhammad -asws, from his -asws father -asws having said: \u2018This Verse was Revealed regarding us -asws and regarding our -asws Shias, the Words of the Exalted: So, there is none for us from the intercessors [26:100] Nor an intimate friend [26:101], and that is because Allah -azwj the Exalted will Prefer us -asws and our -asws Shias to the extent we -asws will be interceding and they would be interceding, so when the ones who aren\u2019t from them see that, they will say, \u2018 So, there is none for us from the intercessors [26:100] Nor an intimate friend [26:101] \u2019\u2019. [14] \n \u2018From Abu Abdullah -asws regarding His -azwj Words: And surely it is a Revelation from Lord of the Worlds [26:192] The Trustworthy Spirit descended with it [26:193] Upon your heart for you to become from the warners [26:194]. He -asws said: \u2018The Wilayah was Revealed for Amir Al-Momineen -asws on the day of Al-Ghadeer\u2019\u2019. [15] \n And regarding the Word of Allah -azwj: \n And had We Revealed it unto one of the non-Arabs [26:198], So he would have recited it to them, they would not have been believers in it [26:199].\u00a0 \u2018Al-Sadiq -asws said: \u2018Had the Quran had been Revealed upon the non-Arab, the Arabs would not have believed in it. And it has been Revealed upon the Arab, and the non-Arabs are believers in it\u2019. Thus it is a merit for the non-Arabs\u2019. [16] \n It is reported that Ibn Al-Kawa said to Ali -asws, \u2018Due to what are you the successor -asws of Muhammad -saww from between the Clan of Abdul Muttalib -asws?\u2019 \n He -asws said: \u2018Then what is the news you want? When (the Verse): And warn your kindred, the near ones! [26:214] was Revealed, Rasool-Allah -saww gathered us and we were forty men. He -saww instructed me -asws to cook a leg of a sheep for him -saww, and one Sa\u2019a of food. He -saww instructed me -asws, and I ground it and made bread of it, and he -saww instructed me, and I -asws brought it near. \n He -asws said: \u2018Ten proceeded first and they ate until they were satiated, and the food remained as it had been, and that from them is one who ate the (amount of) a small sheep and drank his fill. So, they ate from it, all of them in their entirety. Abu Lahab -la said, \u2018Muhammad -saww has enchanted you all\u2019. And they dispersed from him -saww. \n Then Rasool-Allah -saww called them for the second time, then said: \u2018Which one of you will become my -saww brother and my -saww successor -asws and my -saww Vizier?\u2019 He -saww presented it to them and all of them refused until he -saww ended up to me -asws, and I -asws was the youngest of them in years, and the weakest of them in eyes, and the thinnest of them in legs\u2019. I -asws said: \u2018He -saww threw his -saww slippers towards me -asws, and therefore due to that, I -asws am his -saww successor -asws from between them\u2019\u2019. [17] \n And by this chain, from him -asws regarding His -azwj Words: And your transfer among the Sajdah performers [26:219], he -asws said: \u2018Regarding Ali -asws, and (Syeda) Fatima -asws, and Al-Hassan -asws, and Al-Husayn -asws and People -asws of his -saww Household, may the Salawat of Allah -azwj be upon them -asws \u2019\u2019. [18] \n \u2018From Abu Ja\u2019far Muhammad Bin Ali -asws, the Words of the Exalted: The One Who Sees you when you stand up (for Salat) [26:218] And your transfer among the Sajdah performers [26:219]. He -asws said: \u2018He -azwj Sees you -saww when you -saww stand with His -azwj Command, and Transferred you -saww in the Sulb s of the Prophets -as, Prophet -as after a Prophet -as \u2019\u2019. [19] \n Amir Al-Momineen -asws addressed at Al-Medina. And by my -asws life, that which in their hands will melt away upon the approach of the test for the Reward and the Promise, and the allocated times passes by. And the two-tailed star will make its appearance for you from the East, and the luminous moon will make its appearance for you. If that were to happen, return to the repentance, and know that you all follow what you see from the East on the Path of the Rasool -saww. \n It will cure you from the blindness, and the deafness, and the dumbness, and suffice you for the justice and you would be able to discard the gross weight which is upon the necks. And Allah -azwj is not remote except from the one who refuses, and is unjust and unfair, and take that which is not for him, And they shall come to know, those who are being unjust, which overturning they would be Overturned with [26:227] \u2019\u2019 (an extract). [20] \n from Abu Ja\u2019far -asws regarding the Words of Allah -azwj Mighty and Majestic [26:224] And as for the poets, the straying ones follow them, he -asws said: \u2018Have you seen anyone follow the poets? But rather, they are a people who think in the religion other than the Religion, (they make use of analogy). So they go astray and lead others astray (in the religion)\u2019. [21] \n Abu Abdullah -asws regarding the Words of Allah -azwj Mighty and Majestic [26:224] And as for the poets, the straying ones follow them, so he -asws said: \u2018Who has ever seen the poets being followed? But rather, it Means those Jurists ( \u0627\u0644\u0641\u0642\u0647\u0627\u0621 ) who notify ( \u064a\u0634\u0639\u0631\u0648\u0646 ) the hearts of the people with the falsehood. So, they are the poets (publicisers) (\u0627\u0644\u0634\u0639\u0631\u0627\u0621) who are being followed\u2019. [22] \n And Rasool-Allah -saww said: ‘Then all your good (deeds) after that which you do to preserve your honour, and then you give for the tongues of the dogs of the people, like the poets who praise people. Refrain from them, for it will be Reckoned for you, regarding the charities.’ [23] \n Allah -azwj Says: \n And We have not Taught him poetry, nor is it befitting for him; it is nothing but a Reminder and a plain Quran [36:69] That it may warn him who is alive, and (that) the Word may prove true against the unbelievers [36:70]\u00a0 \n And His -azwj Statement [36:69] And We have not Taught him poetry, nor is it befitting for him. Said: \u2018The Quraysh used to say, \u2018What this Muhammad -saww is speaking, is poetry.\u2019 Allah -azwj Rebutted to them. He -saww Said [36:69] And We have not Taught him poetry, nor is it befitting for him and did not ever say that Rasool-Allah -saww is a poet, ever ……(an extract). [24] \n MERITS \n \u0627\u0628\u0646 \u0628\u0627\u0628\u0648\u064a\u0647\u060c \u0628\u0625\u0633\u0646\u0627\u062f\u0647: \u0639\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u062d\u0633\u064a\u0646 \u0628\u0646 \u0623\u0628\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0639\u0644\u0627\u0621\u060c \u0639\u0646 \u0623\u0628\u064a \u0628\u0635\u064a\u0631\u060c \u0639\u0646 \u0623\u0628\u064a \u0639\u0628\u062f \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 (\u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0627\u0644\u0633\u0644\u0627\u0645)\u060c \u0642\u0627\u0644: \u00ab\u0645\u0646 \u0642\u0631\u0623 \u0633\u0648\u0631 \u0627\u0644\u0637\u0648\u0627\u0633\u064a\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u062b\u0644\u0627\u062b \u0641\u064a \u0644\u064a\u0644\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u062c\u0645\u0639\u0629\u060c \u0643\u0627\u0646 \u0645\u0646 \u0623\u0648\u0644\u064a\u0627\u0621 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647\u060c \u0648 \u0641\u064a \u062c\u0648\u0627\u0631 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647\u060c \u0648 \u0641\u064a \u0643\u0646\u0641\u0647 \n Ibn Babuwayh, by his chain, from Al-Husayn Bin Al-A\u2019la, from Abu Baseer, \n Abu Abdullah -asws has said: \u2018The one who recites the three Al-Tawaseen (\u0627\u0644\u0637\u0648\u0627\u0633\u064a\u0646) (Chapters 26, 27 & 28) during the night of Friday (Thursday eve), would be from the friends of Allah -azwj, and in the Nearness of Allah -azwj, and in His -azwj Patronage. \n \u0648 \u0644\u0645 \u064a\u0635\u0628\u0647 \u0641\u064a \u0627\u0644\u062f\u0646\u064a\u0627 \u0628\u0624\u0633 \u0623\u0628\u062f\u0627\u060c \u0648 \u0627\u0639\u0637\u064a \u0641\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0622\u062e\u0631\u0629 \u0645\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u062c\u0646\u0629 \u062d\u062a\u0649 \u064a\u0631\u0636\u0649\u060c \u0648 \u0641\u0648\u0642 \u0631\u0636\u0627\u0647\u060c \u0648 \u0632\u0648\u062c\u0647 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0645\u0627\u0626\u0629 \u0632\u0648\u062c\u0629 \u0645\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u062d\u0648\u0631 \u0627\u0644\u0639\u064a\u0646 \n He will not be affected with despair in the world, ever, and would be Given in the Hereafter from the Paradise until he is satisfied, and over and above his satisfaction. And Allah -azwj would get him to be married to a hundred wives from the Maiden Houries\u2019. He said, \u2018A government would be occurring for us (the clan of Abbas) against them, so their necks would be humiliated to us after (their having) facilities, and disgrace after (their having) honour\u2019.
