[1] The Surah Al-Hijr is named after the word \u2018Hijr\u2019 mentioned in Holy Verse 15:80: \u0648\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0642\u064e\u062f\u0652 \u0643\u064e\u0630\u0651\u064e\u0628\u064e \u0623\u064e\u0635\u0652\u062d\u064e\u0627\u0628\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0652\u062d\u0650\u062c\u0652\u0631\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0645\u064f\u0631\u0652\u0633\u064e\u0644\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064e And the dwellers of the Rock belied the Rasools [15:80], who used to cheat in the measure and be deficient in the weighing. So they were Seized by the tremor, and they were Punished by it, and in the morning while they were crouching in their houses\u2019. [2] \n It was asked from Al-Baqir -asws about His -azwj Words: Sometimes those who are committing Kufr would ardently wish if only they had been submitters [15:2]. He -asws said: \u2018A caller will call out on the Day of Qiyamah, the creatures would hear: \u201cIndeed! No one will enter the Paradise except for a Muslim!\u201d On that day: those who are committing Kufr would ardently wish if only they had been submitters [15:2] to the Wilayah of Amir Al-Momineen -asws \u2019\u2019. \n And he -asws said: \u2018This Verse was Revealed unto the Prophet -saww like this, and they would say, the ones unjust to Progeny of Muhammad of their rights, when they do see the Punishment, – and Ali -asws, he -asws is the Punishment, – \u2018Is there any way to return?\u2019 [42:44]. They would be saying, \u2018We shall return and have the Wilayah of Ali -asws \u2019. \n Allah -saww Said: And you will see them being presented to it, – i.e. their souls being presented unto the Fire – fearing from the abasement, looking \u2013 at Ali -asws – with a fearful glance. And those who believe \u2013 in the Progeny -asws of Muhammad -saww – shall say, \u2018Surely the losers are those who incurred losses for themselves and their families on the Day of Judgment. Indeed! The ones unjust – to the Progeny -asws of their -asws rights – would be in a permanent Punishment [42:45] \u2013 painful\u2019\u2019. [3] \n \u2018From Abu Ja\u2019far -asws regarding His -azwj Words: and Grew therein from every suitable thing [15:19]. Allah -azwj Blessed and Exalted has Grown in the mountains, the gold, and the silver, and the jewels, and the brass, and the copper, and the iron, and the lead, and the Kohl, and the arsenic, and the likes of these are not sold except by weight\u2019\u2019. [4] \n It in a Hadeeth – And We Send the winds for fertilisation [15:22]. He -asws said, \u2018Which pollinates the trees\u2019. [5] \n (In a length where Iblis asked Rasool Allah-saww for forgiveness and after being rebuked, he ran away): I -asws (Amir Al-Monineen -asws ) went behind him -la until I -asws caught up with him -la and wrestled him -la to the ground and sat upon his -la chest, and pressed my -asws hand in his -la throat. He -la said to me -asws, \u2018Do not do it, O Abu Al-Hassan -asws, for I -la am from the Respited ones [15:37] Up to the Day of the known time\u201d [15:38]. By Allah -azwj, O Ali -asws! I -la love you -asws immensely and no one will hate you -asws except I -la have participated with his father in his mother, so he became a child of adultery\u2019. So I -asws laughed and freed his -la way\u2019\u2019. [6] \n In a Hadeeth, Imam Al-Sadiq -asws (6 th Imam) said: \u2018Allah -azwj has Mentioned you (Shias) in His -azwj Book where He -azwj Said: as brethren upon couches face to face [15:47]. By Allah -azwj! Allah -azwj does not Mean by this apart from you (Shias). Have I -asws cheered you?\u2019 I said, \u2018Yes, increase for me\u2019. \n He -asws said: \u2018Allah -azwj the Exalted has Excluded you (Shias) from the Satan -la: there wouldn\u2019t be any authority for you upon them, [15:42]. By Allah -azwj! He -azwj did not Mean by this apart from you (Shias). Have I -asws cheered you?\u2019 I said, \u2018Yes, increase for me\u2019. [7] \u00a0 See the complete Hadeeth in Appendix I. \n It was asked from Abu Abdullah -asws (6 th Imam): Do you -asws recognise the ones who love you -asws and those who hate you -asws?\u2019 He -asws said: \u2018Woe be unto you, O Abu Suleiman. There is no servant who is born, but it is written between his eyes \u2018Momin\u2019, or \u2018Kafir\u2019. The man, we -asws let him come to us -asws with our -asws Wilayah and keep away from our -asws enemies, for we -asws see the writing between his eyes \u2018Momin\u2019, or \u2018Kafir\u2019, and Allah -azwj Mighty and Majestic has Said regarding that: Surely, in that are Signs for the distinguishers [15:75]. We -asws recognise our -asws enemies from our -asws friends\u2019\u2019. [8] \n \u2018I asked Abu Abdullah -asws (about the Verse): And We have Given you seven from Al-Masaany and the Magnificent Quran [15:87]. He -asws said: \u2018It is Surah Al-Hamd. It is of seven Verses. From these is, \u2018 In the Name of Allah the Beneficent, the Merciful [1:1] \u2019, and rather, it is Named as \u2018Al-Masaany\u2019 because it is doubled (recited twice) in the two Cycles\u2019\u2019. [9] \n Abu Abdullah -asws says: \u2018When this Verse was Revealed: Do not extend your eyes to what We have Provided with two categories from them, nor grieve upon them, and lower your wings towards the Momineen [15:88], Rasool-Allah saww said: \u2018The one who was not consoled by the Consolation of Allah azwj would cut himself off from the world in regret; and one who casts his eyes to what is in the hands of someone else would multiply his worries, and his rage would not be healed. \n And one who does not know that Allah azwj has Favoured him, neither in the food, nor in the drinks, nor in the clothing, so he would fall short in his deeds and approach his Punishment. And one who becomes aggrieved upon the world, would become Angered with by Allah azwj. And the one who complains about the difficulties which descend upon him, so he has complained about his Lord azwj. \n And one who enters the Fire from these communities, from the ones who recite the Quran, so he is from the ones who take the Signs of Allah azwj in jest (joke). And one who comes to the one with the facilities and submits his need to him for what is in his hands, a third of his Religion would go away\u2019. \n Then he -asws said: \u2018And do not be hasty, the man wouldn\u2019t be able to attain the kindness from the man so he would venerate him and accord him dignity, so that has been obligated for him upon him, but you will see him that he, by his humbleness, is intending what is in the Presence of Allah -azwj, while he wants to deprive him from what is in his hands\u2019\u2019. [10] \n \u2018From Abu Ja\u2019far -asws, and from Abu Abdullah -asws regarding Words of the Exalted: Those who made the Quran to be parts [15:91]. He -asws said: \u2018They are Qureysh\u2019\u2019. [11] \n Rasool Allah -saww said: \u2018O Jibraeel -as! How shall I -saww react to the scoffers, and what if they are inimical to me -saww?\u2019 He -azwj said: We will Suffice you against the scoffers [15:95] \u2019. He -saww said: \u2018O Jibraeel -as! They were in front of me -saww this very hour\u2019. He -as said: \u2018You -saww have been Sufficed from them, therefore manifest your -saww matter in that (situation)\u2019. And one who writes it and makes it to be in his safe or his pocket, and goes out in the early morning and it is in his accompaniment, his earnings would be abundant, and no one would turn away from him with what happens to be with him (merchandise) from what he sells or buys, and the people would love his dealings\u2019\u2019. What is the Meaning of: [15:1] Alif Lam Ra?\u2019 He -asws said: \u2018Its Meaning is: \u201cI -azwj am Allah -azwj, the Kind (\u0627\u0644\u0631\u0621\u0648\u0641)\u2019. But, as for during the Day of Judgment, So we -asws and our -asws family members, we -asws would recompense our -asws Shias with every recompense. Perhaps he -saww would be removed from what he -saww is (indulging) in, from his -saww error and his -saww falsehood, and his -saww rebellion and his -saww tyranny. And the Lord -azwj of the worlds is above all of them together, and they are His -azwj slaves. So you would be knowing, by your frustrations from whatever he -saww came with, that it is indeed a miracle, and that it is a testimony from Allah -azwj the Exalted with the ratification for him -saww.
