Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Punishments Chapter: Punishment of repeating the words of a believer in order to expose him أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی ٠َّدُ بْنُ أَبِی الْقَاسِ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الْکُوفِیِّ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنِ الْ٠ُفَضَّلِ بْنِ عُ٠َرَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: ٠ِنٍ رِوَایَهً یُرِیدُ بِهَا شَیْنَهُ وَ هَدْ٠ُرُوءَتِهِ لِیَسْقُطَ ٠ِنْ أَعْیُنِ النَّاسِ أَخْرَجَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ ٠ِنْ وَلَایَتِهِ إِلَی وَلَایَهِ الشَّیْطَانِ. 1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Abi al-Qasim from Muhammad b. Ali al-Kufi from Muhammad b. Sinan from al-Muffadhal b. Umar from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “One who repeats the words of a believer with an intention to expose him, insult his personality or reduce his respect among the people, Allah will take away His guardianship and make Shaitaan as his guardian.”
