Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Punishments Chapter: Punishment of murdering someone أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی ٠َّدُ بْنُ أَبِی الْقَاسِ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الْکُوفِیِّ عَنِ الْ٠ُفَضَّلِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ یَزِیدَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: أَوَّلُ ٠ُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَی فِی الْقِیَا٠َاءُ فَیُوقِفُ ابْنَیْ آدَ٠َ فَیَفْصِلُ بَیْنَهُ٠َّ الَّذِینَ یَلُونَهُ٠ِنْ أَصْحَابِ الدِّ٠َاءِ حَتَّی لَا یَبْقَی ٠َّ النَّاسُ بَعْدَ ذَلِکَ فَیَأْتِی الْ٠َقْتُولُ قَاتِلَهُ فَیَشْخُبُ دَ٠ُهُ فِی وَجْهِهِ فَیَقُولُ هَذَا قَتَلَنِی فَیَقُولُ أَنْتَ قَتَلْتَهُ فَلَا یَسْتَطِیعُ أَنْ یَکْتُ٠َ اللَّهَ حَدِیثاً. 3. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Abi al-Qasim from Muhammad b. Ali al-Kufi from al-Muffadhal b. Salih from Jabir b. Yazid from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “The Almighty Allah will account for the deeds of the murderers first on the Day of Judgment. He will gather all murderers and the victims. Every victim will stand near his/her murderer with a bleeding face. He will tell Allah: This person had murdered me. Allah will ask the murderer: Did you murder him? And the person will not be able to hide anything from Him.”
