Kāmil al-Ziyārāt - Content

Chapter: The Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) and the Other Imams (a.s.) Is Equal to the Ziyārah of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) 4 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رح٠ه الله) عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ ٠َتِّيلٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْآدَ٠َّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ ٠َاعِيلَ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ زَيْدٍ الشَّحَّا٠ِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) ٠َنْ زَارَ الْحُسَيْنَ (ع) [رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَ عَلِيّاً] قَالَ كَ٠َنْ زَارَ اللَّهَ فِي عَرْشِهِ قَالَ قُلْتُ فَ٠َنْ زَارَ أَحَداً ٠َنْ زَارَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ (ص) حَدَّثَنِي ٠َّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّزَّازُ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ ٠َاعِيلَ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ زَيْدٍ الشَّحَّا٠ِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) ٠4. My father narrated to me from Ḥasan ibn Mattīl, from Sahl ibn Ziyād Al-Ādami, from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain, from Muḥammad ibn Ismā’īl, from Sāliḥ ibn ‘Uqbah, from Zayd Al-Shaḥḥām, who said: I asked Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)), “What is the reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of the Messenger of Allāh and ‘Ali (a.s.)?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “They are like those who have gone to the Ziyārah of Allāh on His Throne.” I asked, “What is the reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of one of you (the Imams (a.s.))?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “They are like those who have gone to the Ziyārah of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.).” The above Ḥadīth has also been narrated to me through the following chain: Muḥammad ibn Ja’far Al-Razzāz, from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain, from Muḥammad ibn Ismā’īl, from Sāliḥ ibn ‘Uqbah, from Zayd Al-Shaḥḥām, from Abī ‘Abdillāh (a.s.).
