Chapter: The Reward for Performing Ghusl with the Water of the Euphrates (River) Before the ZiyÄrah of Ĥusain (a.s.) 1 ØÙدÙÙØ«ÙÙÙ٠أÙبÙÙ Ù٠جÙÙ ÙÙد٠بÙÙÙ ÙÙØÙÙÙ٠اÙÙعÙØ·ÙÙار٠عÙÙÙ ØÙÙ ÙدÙاÙ٠بÙÙ٠سÙÙÙÙÙÙ ÙاÙ٠اÙÙÙÙÙÙسÙابÙÙرÙÙÙ٠عÙÙ٠عÙبÙد٠اÙÙÙÙÙ٠بÙÙÙ Ù ÙÙÙÙع٠بÙÙ٠اÙÙØÙجÙÙاج٠عÙÙÙ ÙÙÙÙÙس٠عÙÙ٠صÙÙÙÙÙاÙ٠اÙÙجÙÙ ÙÙاÙ٠عÙÙ٠أÙبÙ٠عÙبÙد٠اÙÙÙÙÙÙ (ع) ÙÙاÙÙ Ù ÙÙ٠اغÙتÙسÙÙ٠بÙÙ Ùاء٠اÙÙÙÙرÙات٠Ù٠زÙار٠ÙÙبÙر٠اÙÙØÙسÙÙÙÙÙ (ع) ÙÙاÙÙ ÙÙÙÙÙÙÙ ÙÙ٠اÙØ°ÙÙÙÙÙب٠ÙÙ ÙÙÙ٠اÙÙتÙرÙÙÙÙÙا ÙÙبÙائÙر٠ÙÙ ÙÙاÙÙÙا ÙÙØÙبÙÙÙÙ٠اÙرÙÙجÙÙ٠إÙØ°Ùا زÙار٠[ÙÙØÙبÙÙÙÙ٠إÙØ°Ùا زÙار٠اÙرÙÙجÙÙÙ] ÙÙبÙر٠اÙÙØÙسÙÙÙÙÙ (ع) اغÙتÙسÙÙÙ Ù٠إÙØ°Ùا ÙÙدÙÙع٠ÙÙÙ ÙسÙØÙ ÙÙدÙÙ٠عÙÙÙÙ ÙÙجÙÙÙÙ٠إÙØ°Ùا ÙÙدÙÙع٠1. My father and all of my scholars narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn YaḥyÄ Al-âAťťÄr, from ḤamdÄn ibn SulaymÄn Al-NaysÄbÅ«ri, from âAbdillÄh ibn Muḥammad Al-YamÄni, from ManÄ«â ibn ḤajjÄj, from YÅ«nus, from SafwÄn Al-JammÄl, who said: AbÅ« âAbdillÄh (Imam SÄdiq (a.s.)) said: Those who perform Ghusl with the water of the Euphrates (River) and then go to the ZiyÄrah of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.) become sinless like the day their mothers gave birth to them, even if they had committed major sins. It is recommended that one performs Ghusl before going to the ZiyÄrah of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.) and not when bidding farewell (to him), but rather wipe oneâs hands over the face when bidding farewell.
