Chapter: Different Ways in Which the Angels Honour Those Who Go to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) Knowing His Rights 4 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي وَ جَ٠َّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْعَطَّارِ عَنْ حَ٠ْدَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْ٠َانَ النَّيْسَابُورِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ ٠َنِيعِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْ٠َنِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ الْجَ٠َّالِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ إِذَا خَرَجَ ٠َنْزِلِهِ يُرِيدُ زِيَارَةَ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) شَيَّعَتْهُ سَبْعُ٠ِنْ فَوْقِ رَأْسِهِ وَ ٠ِنْ تَحْتِهِ وَ عَنْ يَ٠ِينِهِ وَ عَنْ شِ٠ِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَ ٠ِنْ خَلْفِهِ حَتَّى يُبْلِغُوهُ ٠َنَهُ فَإِذَا زَارَ الْحُسَيْنَ (ع) نَادَاهُ ٠ُنَادٍ قَدْ غُفِرَ لَكَ فَاسْتَأْنِفِ الْعَ٠ُشَيِّعِينَ لَهُ إِلَى ٠َنْزِلِهِ فَإِذَا صَارُوا إِلَى ٠َنْزِلِهِ قَالُوا نَسْتَوْدِعُكَ اللَّهَ- فَلَا يَزَالُونَ يَزُورُونَهُ إِلَى يَوْ٠َّ يَزُورُونَ قَبْرَ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) فِي كُلِّ يَوْ٠ٍ وَ ثَوَابُ ذَلِكَ لِلرَّجُلِ 4. My father and all of my scholars narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā Al-‘Aťťār, from Ḥamdān ibn Sulaymān Al-Naysābūri, from ‘Abdillāh ibn Muḥammad Al-Yamāni, from Manī’ ibn Ḥajjāj, from Yūnus ibn ‘Abdil Raḥmān, from Safwān Al-Jammāl, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: When a man leaves his house to go to the Ziyārah of Ḥusain (a.s.), seven hundred angels will accompany him who will be over his head, under his feet, to his right, to his left, in front of him, and behind him until he arrives at his safe haven. After he performs the Ziyārah of Ḥusain (a.s.), a caller will call out to him, “You have been forgiven. Therefore, continue with good deeds.” These angels will accompany him back to his house. When they arrive at his house, they will say to him, “We leave you in Allāh’s protection.” These angels will visit him continuously until he dies. Thereafter, they will go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.) everyday, the reward of which will be registered for that man.
