Chapter: Establishing Prayers in Full Form Next to the Grave of Ĥusain (a.s.) 1 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي وَ ٠َّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ ٠َتِّيلٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْآدَ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي شِبْلٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) أَزُورُ قَبْرَ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) قَالَ زُرِ الطَّيِّبَ وَ أَتِ٠َّ الصَّلَاةَ عِنْدَهُ قَالَ أَتِ٠َّ الصَّلَاةَ عِنْدَهُ قَالَ أَتِ٠َّ قُلْتُ فَإِنَّ بَعْضَ أَصْحَابِنَا يَرْوِي التَّقْصِيرَ قَالَ إِنَّ٠َا يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ الضَّعَفَةُ حَدَّثَنِي ٠َّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ره عَنْ جَ٠َشَايِخِهِ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ بِإِسْنَادِهِ ٠1. My father and Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan both narrated to me from Ḥasan ibn Mattīl, from Sahl ibn Ziyād Al-Ādami, from Muḥammad ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Sāliḥ ibn ‘Uqbah, from Abī Shibl, who said: I asked Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)), “Should I go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.)?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “Go to the Ziyārah of the Blessed One and establish prayers in full form next to his grave.” I asked, “Establish prayers in full form next to him?!” Imam (a.s.) replied, “(Establish prayers) in full form.” I said, “(But) some of our companions narrate that prayers should be established in Taqsīr?!” Imam (a.s.) replied, “Those who are weak do this.” The above Ḥadīth has also been narrated to me through the following chain: Muḥammad ibn Ya’qūb, from all of his scholars, from Sahl ibn Ziyāh, from Muḥammad ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Sāliḥ ibn ‘Uqbah, from Abī Shibl, from Abī ‘Abdillāh (a.s.).
