Kāmil al-Ziyārāt - Content

Chapter: The Reward for the Ziyārah of the Graves of Abil Ĥasan Mūsā ibn Ja’far and Muĥammad ibn ‘Ali Al-Jawād (a.s.) in Baghdad َّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ حَ٠ْدَانَ الْقَلَانِسِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ ٠َّدٍ الْحُضَيْنِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ ٠َرْوَانَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ قَالَ كَتَبْتُ إِلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الثَّالِثِ (ع) أَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ قَبْرِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ قَبْرِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ وَ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (ع) فَكَتَبَ إِلَيَّ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) الْ٠11. Muḥammad ibn Ya’qūb narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā, from Ḥamdān Al-Qalānisi, from ‘Ali ibn Muḥammad Al-Ḥuďayni, from ‘Ali ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Marwān, from Ibrāhīm ibn ‘Uqbah, who said: I wrote to Abil Ḥasan the Third (Imam Hādi (a.s.)) asking him about the Ziyārah of the grave of Abī ‘Abdillāh (Imam Ḥusain (a.s.)) and about the Ziyārah of the graves of Abil Ḥasan (Imam Kāżim (a.s.)) and Abī Ja’far (Imam Jawād (a.s.)). Imam (a.s.) replied, “Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Ḥusain (a.s.)) comes first but that (the Ziyārah of Imam Kāżim and Imam Jawād) is more complete and has a greater reward.”
