Surely, He is the Hearing, the Seeing [17:1] \n A detailed account of the journey of Miraj is given in Appendix-I.

\n Next, we go straight to the Verse \u2018 Show him from Our Signs\u2019 (17:1) .\u00a0 First of all, the Signs were not Allah -azwj , as some people believe that the distance between Rasool Allah -saww and Allah \u2011azwj was very little (i.e., distance of less than two bows) as they interpret from the following Verse(s): And he was in the highest horizon [53:7] Then he approached, so he bowed [53:8] So he was (at a distance of) two bows or nearer [53:9] And He Revealed unto His servant what He Revealed [53:10] .

\n So, let\u2019s take these points (1) Signs Shown and (2) Distance of Two Bows or nearer and try to understand these through Ahadith. \n 1) The Signs Shown to Rasool-Allah -saww were not Allah -azwj \u2013 so what were Signs?
