He said...

He said: ‘If you are ridiculing us, so we are ridiculing you just as you are ridiculing’ [11:38] Soon you will come to know [11:39] .

فأمره الله أن يتخذ السفينة وأمر جبرئيل أن ينزل عليه ويعلمه كيف يتخذها، فقدر طولها في الأرض ألفا ” ومائتي ذراع، وعرضها ثمان مائة ذراع، وطولها في السماء ثمانون ذراعا Allah -azwj Commanded him -as to take (to making) the ship, and Commanded Jibraeel -as to descend unto him -as and let him -as know how to make it, so a measurement of its length in the ground should be of a thousand and two hundred cubits, and its width of eight hundred cubits, and its length in the sky (tallness) of eighty cubits.

فقال: يا رب من يعينني على اتخاذها ؟ فأوحى الله إليه: ناد في قومك: من أعانني عليها ونجر منها شيئا ” صار ما ينجره ذهبا ” وفضة، فنادى نوح فيهم بذلك فأعانوه عليهم وكانوا يسخرون منه ويقولون: يتخذ سفينة في البر He -as said: ‘O Lord -azwj ! Who will assist me -as upon its making?’ Allah -azwj Revealed to him -as : ‘Call out among your -as people: ‘Who will assist me -as upon it and do some carpentry from it? Whatever he makes would become gold and silver’”.

Noah -as called out among them with that, and they assisted him -as against them, and they were mocking from it and were saying, ‘He -as is making a ship in the land’’.
