\n He -asws said: \u2018By Allah -azwj ! It does not mean other than the two\u2019 \u2013 up to the end of the Hadeeth as I (Majlisi) would be coming with it\u2019\u2019. [2] \n Abu Abdullah -asws (6 th Imam) says: \u2018Words of the Exalted: So which of the Favours of your Lord with you two belie? [55:13] \u2013 i.e., which of the two Favours will you deny, (favour) of Muhammad -saww or (favour) of Ali -asws ? They -asws are the two Favours Bestowed upon the servants\u2019\u2019.

[3] \n From Abu Al-Hassan Al-Reza -asws regarding His -azwj Words: The Beneficent [55:1] Taught the Quran [55:2] . He -asws said: \u2018Allah -azwj Taught Muhammad -saww the Quran\u2019. \n I said, \u2018(What about): Created the human being [55:3] Taught him the clarification [55:4] ?\u2019 He -asws said: \u2018That is Ali -asws Bin Abu Talib -asws .

He -azwj Taught him -asws the clarification of everything from what the people would need from him -asws .\u2019 \n I (the narrator) said, \u2018(What about): [55:5] The sun and the moon follow a Reckoning ?\u2019 He -asws said: \u2018They would both be Punished.\u2019 I said, \u2018The sun and the moon would be Punished?\u2019 \n He -asws said: \u2018If you ask about something, then perfect it.

Surely, the sun and the moon are two Signs from the Signs of Allah, flowing by His -azwj Command, obedient to Him -azwj . Their illumination is from the Light of His -azwj Throne and their heat is from heat of Hell. \n So when it would be the Day of Judgment, both their lights would return to the Throne, and their heat would return to the Fire. Thus, they would neither happen to be a sun nor a moon. And rather, what is meant are those two (Abu Bakr and Umar), Allah -azwj has Cursed them both.

Aren\u2019t the people reporting that Rasool-Allah -saww said: \u2018The sun and the moon are two lights in the Fire?\u2019 I said, \u2018Yes\u2019.

\n He -asws said: \u2018And have you not heard the words of the people, \u2018So and so, and so and so (Abu Bakr and Umar) are two suns of this community and their light?\u2019 So these two are in the Fire, and Allah -azwj has not Meant (anything else) other than these two\u2019 \n I said, \u2018(What about): And the star and the tree both perform Sajdahs [55:6] ?\u2019 \n He -asws (Abu Al-Hassan Al-Reza -asws ) said: \u2018 The star [55:6] , is Rasool-Allah -saww , and Allah -azwj has Named him -saww so in other places, so He -azwj Said: (I Swear) by the star when it swoops down [53:1] .
