Equity between the couple means: a proportion, balance, co-ordination, concurrence and congeniality between the boy and the girl, and conventionally, the harmony of a man and woman to get along together. Marriage is a form of combination between two human being and two families.

Joint and common life is ‘a compound’ thing, the actual and basic elements of which are the man and the woman.
