حَدِّثُوْا النَّاسَ بِما يَعْرِفُونَ...
حَدِّثُوْا النَّاسَ بِما يَعْرِفُونَ؛ أتُرِيْدُونَ أنْ يُكَذَّبَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ؟ Talk to people about what they can understand. Do you want them to deny God and His Prophet? ما أنْتَ مُحَدِّثٌ قَوْمَاً حَدِيْثَاً لا تَبْلُغُهُ عُقُولُهُمْ إلاّ كانَ عَلى بَعْضِهِمْ فِتْنَةٌ. Talking about something to a people with deficient intellect causes evil for some of them. عَلِّمُوْا وَيَسِّرُوْا، وَلا تُعَسِّرُوْا وَبَشِّرُوْا وَلا تُنَفِّرُوْا، وَاِذا غَضِبَ أحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْكُتْ.
Teach (your knowledge to others). Be easy- going and do not be hard on people. Be open- faced and do not treat people harshly. When one of you gets angry, he should keep silent. عَلِّمُوْا وَلا تُعَنِّفُوْا؛ فَإِنَّ المُعَلِّمَ خَيْرٌ مِنَ المُعَنِّفِ. Teach and do not be hard (on the learners), for an (easy- going) teacher is better than a crude one. عَلِّمُوْا بَنِيْكُمُ الرَّمْيَ فَاِنَّهُ نِكَايَةُ العَدُوِّ. Teach your children shooting, for it is the cause of disgrace for your enemies.
عَلِّمُوْا أبْنَاءَكُمُ السِّبَاحَةَ وَالرَّمْيَ، وَالمَرَأَةَ المِغْزَلَ. Teach your children swimming and shooting, and your women, spinning. عَلِّمُوْا أبْنَاءَكُمُ السِّبَاحَةَ وَالرِّمَايَةَ، وَنِعْمَ لَهْوُ المُؤْمِنَةِ في بَيْتِهَا المِغْزَلُ، وَاِذا دَعَاكَ أبَواكَ فَأَجِبْ أُمَّكَ. Teach your children swimming and shooting. What a good hobby is spinning wheel at home for a pious woman! When your mother and your father call you (simultaneously), respond to your mother (first).
العَالِمُ وَالمُتَعَلِّمُ شَرِيْكَانِ في الخَيْرِ وَسَائِرُ النَّاسِ لا خَيْرَ فيهِمْ. Teachers and learners equally share the good, and nothing is there for other people. الغُدُوُّ وَالرَّوَاحُ في تَعْليمِ العِلْمِ أفْضَلُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنَ الجِهَادِ. Teaching (your) knowledge every morning and night is better in the sight of God than Jihad (Holy war.) قُلِ الحَقَّ وَإنْ كَانَ مُرَّاً. Tell what's true, even if it is bitter (to you.) الحَمْدُ عَلَى النِّعْمَةِ أمَانٌ لِزَوالِهَا.
Thanking (God's) grace makes it ruin, not face. ما وَقى بِهِ المَرْءُ عِرْضَهُ كُتِبَ لَهُ بِهِ صَدَقَةٌ. That by which man maintains his honor is considered charity for him. حَدُّ السَّاحِرِ ضَرْبَةٌ بِالسَّيْفِ. The (Islamic) punishment for a sorcerer is a stroke of sword. مَنْ قَلَّ طَعْمُهُ صَحَّ بَدَنُهُ، وَمَنْ كَثُرَ طَعْمُهُ سَقُمَ بَدَنُهَ، وَقَسَا قَلْبُهُ. The abstemious remain healthy and the gluttonous grow sick and hard- hearted. زِنَا العَيْنَيْنِ النَّظَرُ.
The adultery of eyes is an unlawful look.
