And the following supplication is recommended...

And the following supplication is recommended: O Allah: I beseech You in the name of this night and in the name of him whom was born at it allahumma bihaqqi laylatina hadhihi wa mawludiha اللّهُمَّ بِحَقِّ لَيْلَتِنَا هذِهِ وَمَوْلُودِهَ and in the name of Your Argument and in the name of Your promise in it, wa hujjtika wa maw`udiha وَحُجَّتِكَ وَمَوْعُودِهَا، the night that You have added a new merit to its many merits allaty qaranta ila fadliha fadlan الَّتِي قَرَنْتَ إلَى فَضْلِهَا فَضْلاً، So, Your Word has been accomplished truly and fairly; fatammt kalimatuka sidqan wa `adlan فَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَتُكَ صِدْقاً وَعَدْلاً، no one can change Your words, la mubaddla likalimatika لا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِكَ، nor obscure Your signs, wa la mu`aqqba li-ayatika وَلا مُعَقِّبَ لآيَاتِكَ، (He is) Your glowing Light nuruka almutalliqu نُورُكَ الْمُتَأَلِّقُ، and Your bring splendor wa diyau´uka almushriqu وَضِيَاؤُكَ الْمُشْرِقُ، and the luminous sign in the obscurity of darkness wal-`alamu alnnuru fi takhya‘i alddayjuri وَالْعَلَمُ النُّورُ فِي طَخْيَاءِ الدَّيْجُورِ، O Allah: I beseech You in the name of this night and in the name of him whom was born at it allahumma bihaqqi laylatina hadhihi wa mawludiha اللّهُمَّ بِحَقِّ لَيْلَتِنَا هذِهِ وَمَوْلُودِهَ and in the name of Your Argument and in the name of Your promise in it, wa hujjtika wa maw`udiha وَحُجَّتِكَ وَمَوْعُودِهَا، the night that You have added a new merit to its many merits allaty qaranta ila fadliha fadlan الَّتِي قَرَنْتَ إلَى فَضْلِهَا فَضْلاً، So, Your Word has been accomplished truly and fairly; fatammt kalimatuka sidqan wa `adlan فَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَتُكَ صِدْقاً وَعَدْلاً، no one can change Your words, la mubaddla likalimatika لا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِكَ، nor obscure Your signs, wa la mu`aqqba li-ayatika وَلا مُعَقِّبَ لآيَاتِكَ، (He is) Your glowing Light nuruka almutalliqu نُورُكَ الْمُتَأَلِّقُ، and Your bring splendor wa diyau´uka almushriqu وَضِيَاؤُكَ الْمُشْرِقُ، and the luminous sign in the obscurity of darkness wal-`alamu alnnuru fi takhya‘i alddayjuri وَالْعَلَمُ النُّورُ فِي طَخْيَاءِ الدَّيْجُورِ، and the absent and the concealed, algha’ibu almasturu الْغَائِبُ الْمَسْتُورُ Lofty is his birth and noble is his lineage jalla mawliduhu wa karuma mahtiduhu جَلَّ مَوْلِدُهُ، وَكَرُمَ مَحْتِدُهُ، and the angels are his witnesses wal-mala’ikatu shuhhaduhu وَالْمَلائِكَةُ شُهَّدُهُ، and Allah is his Supporter and Backer wallahu nasiruhu wa mu´ayyduhu وَاللّهُ نَاصِرُهُ وَمُؤَيِّدُهُ، when his time comes and the angels shall be his sponsors; idha ana mi`aduhu wal-mala’ikatu amdaduhu إذَا آنَ مِيعَادُهُ وَالْمَلائِكَةُ أَمْدَادُهُ، (He shall act as) the sword of Allah that shall never miss the target, sayfu allahi alladhy la yanbu سَيْفُ اللّهِ الَّذِي لا يَنْبُو، and His light that shall never be extinguished wa nuruhu alladhy la yakhbu وَنُورُهُ الَّذِي لا يَخْبُو، And the forbearing person who shall never deviate the truth.
