Shiavault - a Vault of Shia Islamic Books The 15 Whispered Prayers of As-Sahifa al-Kamila as-Sajjadiyyah The Whispered Prayer of the Knowers بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم In the Name of ALLAH, the All-compassionate the All-merciful BIS-MIL-LAAHIR-RAH'-MAANIR-RAH'EEM اللّهُمّ صَلّ عَلَى مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمّد O Allah, send blessings on Muhammad and on the family of Muhammad, ALLAHUMMA S'ALE A'LAA MUHAMMAD WA AALE MUHAMMAD إلهِي My God, ILAAHEE قَصُرَتِ الأَلْسُنُ عَنْ بُلُوغِ ثَنآئِكَ، كَما يَلِيقُ بِجَلالِكَ، Our tongues fall short and we are unable to praise you enough to the level of your majestic Glory QAS'URATIL-AL-SUNU A'M-BULOOGHI THANAAA-IKA KAMA YALEEQU BIJALAALIK وَعَجَزَتِ الْعُقُولُ عَنْ إدْراكِ كُنْهِ جَمالِكَ، And our intellect is unable to grasp the core of your beauty, WA A'JAZATIL-U'QOOLU A'N ID-RAAKI KUN-HEE JAMAALIK وَانْحَسَرَتِ الأَبْصارُ دُونَ النَّظَرِ إلى سُبُحاتِ وَجْهِكَ، And our eyes fail to gaze upon the glory of your face, WA AN-H'ASARATIL-AB-S'AARU DOONAN-NAZ'ARI ILAA SUBUH'AATI WAJ-HIK وَلَمْ تَجْعَلْ لِلْخَلْقِ طَرِيقاً إلى مَعْرِفَتِكَ إلاَّ بِالْعَجْزِ عَنْ مَعْرِفَتِكَ.

and you have not assigned to your creation, a way to know you, except the inability to know you WA LAM TAJ-A'L-LIL-KHAL-QI T'AREEQAN ILAA MAA'-RIFATIKA IL-LAA BIL-A'J-ZI A'M-MAA'-RIFATIK إلهِي فَاجْعَلْنا مِنَ الَّذِينَ My God, include us among those ILAAHEE FAJ-A'L-NAA MINAL-LAD'EENA تَرَسَّخَتْ أَشْجارُ الشَّوقِ إلَيْكَ فِي حَدآئِقِ صُدُورِهِمْ، Who have the trees of your yearning firmly rooted within their breasts TARAS-SAKHAT ASH-JAARUSH-SHAW-QI ILAY-KA FEE H'ADAAA-IQI S'UDOORIHIM- وَأَخَذَتْ لَوْعَةُ مَحَبَّتِكَ بِمَجامِعِ قُلُوبِهِمْ، and whose hearts have been seized by the strong feeling of your love!

WA AKHAD'AT LAW-A'TU MAH'AB-BATIKA BIMAJAAMII' QULOOBIHIM- فَهُمْ إلَى أَوْكارِ الأَفْكارِ يَأْوُونَ، those who seek shelter in your nests of pondering and meditation, FAHUM ILAAA AW-KAARIL-AF-KAARI YAA-WOON وَفِي رِياضِ الْقُرْبِ وَالْمُكاشَفَةِ يَرْتَعُونَ، And they feed upon your gardens of nearness and revelation, WA FEE REEAAZ''IL-QUR-BI WAL-MUKAASHAFATI YAR-TAU'WNA وَمِنْ حِياضِ الْمَحَبَّةِ بِكَأْسِ الْمُلاطَفَةِ يَكْرَعُونَ، And they drink from the pools of your love with the cup of your gentle favors upon them WA MIN H'EEAAZ''IL-MAH'AB-BATI BIKAA-SIL-MULAAT'AFATI YAK-RAU'WN وَشَرايعَ الْمُصافاةِ يَرِدُونَ، and they enter into the watering-places of your warm affection.
