A deeper study of the verse, however, reveals that in the verse, the word touching is not used in its literal sense. Also “the purified ones ” does not mean those who have done ritual washing, for example wudu . Besides the pronoun “it” in “None shall touch it” does not refer to the holy Qur’an, and the word “ touching ” in this verse means “spiritual contact”, and “ the purified ones ” means those to whom God, the Mighty and High, has granted particular “purity”.
