Indeed your goodness towards the ones who plots against you...

Indeed your goodness towards the ones who plots against you from your opponents and enviers is more irritating for them than your trying to do them harm, and it is [also] a means of inviting them to reform [themselves]. 50ـ إنَّ إحْسانَكَ إلى مَنْ كادَكَ مِنَ الأضْدادِ والحُسّادِ لأغْيَظُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ مَواقِعِ إسائَتِكَ مِنْهُمْ وهُوَ داع إلى صَلاحِهِمْ. Verily your munificence does not extend to all of the creation, so aim it towards the noblest of creation.

51ـ إنَّ كَرامَتَكَ لا ئَتَّسِعُ لِجَميعِ الخَلْقِ، فَتَوَّخَ بِها أفاضِلَ الخَلْقِ. It is not from the practice of the virtuous to delay the bestowal of favours. 52ـ
