Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ali ibn Maâbad from the person whom he mentioned from Muâawiya ibn Wahab from abu âAbdallah (a.s.) who has said the following. âImam Ali (a.s.), would often say, âO seekers of knowledge, (note that) a scholar has three signs: Knowledge, forbearance and quietness. An orator has three signs: He quarrels those higher then him through disobedience.
