Al-Kāfi - The Book of Talaq (Divorces) ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ ٠َحْبُوبٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَ٠َالِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلا٠) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْ٠ْلُوكِ أَ عَلَيْهِ ظِهَارٌ فَقَالَ نِصْفُ ٠َا عَلَى الْحُرِّ ٠ِ وَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ كَفَّارَةٌ صَدَقَةٌ وَ لَا عِتْقٌ.

He (the Imam) said, ‘He owes one-half of what is due on a free person of fasting, and setting free of slaves as expiation does not apply in his case as well as paying charity.’” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (21/261))
