Al-Kāfi - The Book on Oneness of Allah (God) Chapter: Chapter On Prohibition on Attributing to Allah What He Himself has not Done so َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ إِبْرَاهِي٠ٍ قَالَ كَتَبَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ ٠ُوسَى بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) إِلَى أَبِي أَنَّ الله أَعْلَى وَأَجَلُّ وَأَعْظَ٠ِنْ أَنْ يُبْلَغَ كُنْهُ صِفَتِهِ فَصِفُوهُ بِ٠َا وَصَفَ بِهِ نَفْسَهُ وَكُفُّوا عَ٠َّا سِوَى ذَلِكَ.

Speak of only those of His attributes of which He Himself has spoken and refrain from attributes other than those ones.’” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (1/351)) يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi)
