It is narrated from Ali ibn Ibrahim from his father from Ali ibn Maâbad from Wasil ibn Sulayman from âAbdallah ibn Sinan who has said the following. âI heared Imam Abi âAbdallah (a.s.) saying, âAllah commanded but did not want. He wanted but did not command. He commanded Satan to prostrate but He did not want it. If He wanted Satan would have prostrated. He prohibited Adam from eating of the tree and wanted him to eat.
Had He not wanted he would not have ate.â جÙÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (2/157)) Ùخرج٠- Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi)
