Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: The obligation to obey the Imams (a.s.) 9ـ وَبِهَذَا الاسْنَادِ عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَ٠ِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَ٠ْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الائِ٠َّةِ هَلْ يَجْرُونَ فِي الا٠ْرِ وَالطَّاعَةِ ٠َجْرَى وَاحِدٍ قَالَ نَعَ٠9.

Through the same chain of narrators it is narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Ali ibn abu Hamza from abu Basir who has said that I asked Imam abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) about the Imams whether in the matters of the obligation of obedience to them they are all the same or not.

The Imam (a.s.) replied, “Yes, they are all the same.” يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi) شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/331))
