Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: If Secrets would be kept the Imams (a.s.) can tell everyone what is for and against them ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْ٠َانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ بْنِ الْ٠ُخْتَارِ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) لَوْ كَانَ لالْسِنَتِكُ٠ْ أَوْكِيَةٌ لَحَدَّثْتُ كُلَّ ا٠َا لَهُ وَعَلَيْهِ.

“Had there been a thing (zip) to contain (to sack) your tongues I would have spoken to everyone about what is for or against him.” يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi) جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (3/139))
