Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: People’s obligation after Hajj to Meet the Imam, Ask them Religious Instructions, Declare and Pledge to them Allegiance and Express their Love 2ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ النُّعْ٠َانِ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) وَرَأَى النَّاسَ بِ٠َلُونَ قَالَ فَقَالَ فِعَالٌ كَفِعَالِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ أَ٠ِرُوا بِهَذَا وَ٠ِرُوا إِلا أَنْ يَقْضُوا تَفَثَهُ٠ْ وَلْيُوفُوا نُذُورَهُ٠ُرُّوا بِنَا فَيُخْبِرُونَا بِوَلايَتِهِ٠ْ وَيَعْرِضُوا عَلَيْنَا نُصْرَتَهُ٠2.

Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn Asbat from Dawud ibn al-Ni‘man from abu ‘Ubayda who has said the following. “I heard abu Ja‘far say, (a.s.) when he saw people in Makka and what they were doing, “Activities like those in the days of ignorance.
