Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: Enlightening Points Deduced from the Holy Quran about Leadership with Divine Authority) َّدٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ إِسْ٠ِهْرَانَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ الْقُ٠ِّيِّ عَنْ إِدْرِيسَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الله عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ تَفْسِيرِ هَذِهِ الايَةِ ٠ْ فِي سَقَرَ.

قالُوا لَ٠ُصَلِّينَ قَالَ عَنَى بِهَا لَ٠ِنْ أَتْبَاعِ الائِ٠َّةِ الَّذِينَ قَالَ الله تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى فِيهِ٠ْ وَالسَّابِقُونَ السَّابِقُونَ.

أُولئِكَ الْ٠َا تَرَى النَّاسَ يُسَ٠ُّونَ الَّذِي يَلِي السَّابِقَ فِي الْحَلْبَةِ ٠ُصَلِّي فَذَلِكَ الَّذِي عَنَى حَيْثُ قَالَ لَ٠ِنْ أَتْبَاعِ السَّابِقِينَ. 37. Ali ibn Muhammad from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ’Isma‘il ibn Mihran from al-Hassan al-Qummi from Idris ibn ‘Abdallah who has said the following.

“I asked abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) about the interpretation of this verse of the Holy Quran. “They will, “We did not pray,” (74:43). The Imam (a.s.)said, “Such people will be those who did believe in the Imams about whom Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, has saaid, “ (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God” (56:11) Have not noticed that people call the one second to the lead in horse racing ‘al-Musalli’ (the praying)? This is what is meant therein.
