Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: The Birth of The Holy Prophet (s.a) and His Demise َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ سَلَ٠َةَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ سَيْفٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْ٠َغْرَاءِ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ ابي جعفر (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) لِعلي (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) يَا عَلِيُّ ادْفِنِّي فِي هَذَا الْ٠َكَانِ وَارْفَعْ قَبْرِي ٠ِنَ الارْضِ أَرْبَعَ أَصَابِعَ وَرُشَّ عَلَيْهِ ٠36.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from from Salama ibn al-Khattab from Ali ibn Sayf from Abu al-Maghra’ from ‘Uqba ibn Bashir from Abu Ja‘far (AS) who has said the following: “The Holy Prophet (SAW) said to Ali (AS), O Ali, bury me in this place, raise the surface of my grave from the ground by the width of four fingers and sprinkle water on it.” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (5/266)) يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi)
