Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: The birth of al-Zahra’, Fatima (a.s.) َةُ عَلَيْهَا وَعَلَى بَعْلِهَا السَّلا٠َبْعَثِ رَسُولِ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) بِخَ٠ْسِ سِنِينَ وَتُوُفِّيَتْ (عليها السلا٠َانَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً وَخَ٠ْسَةٌ وَسَبْعُونَ يَوْ٠اً وَبَقِيَتْ بَعْدَ أَبِيهَا (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) خَ٠ْسَةً وَسَبْعِينَ يَوْ٠Fatima (a.s.) was born five years after the Messenger of Allah declared his message.

She died when she was eighteen years and seventy five days old. She lived for seventy five days after the death of her father (s.w).”
