A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu âAbd Allah from âUthman ibn âIsa from Samaâah ibn Mehran who has said the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about dress of silk and brocades. He (the Imam) said, âDuring war it is not unlawful even if it has prints and pictures on it.ââ ÙØ«Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (22/333))
