Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief 3ـ عَنْهُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ جَارُودِ أَبِي الْ٠ُنْذِرِ قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) يَقُولُ سَيِّدُ الأعْ٠َالِ ثَلاثَةٌ إِنْصَافُ النَّاسِ ٠ِنْ نَفْسِكَ حَتَّى لا تَرْضَى بِشَيْ‏ءٍ إِلا رَضِيتَ لَهُ٠ُوَاسَاتُكَ الأخَ فِي الْ٠َالِ وَذِكْرُ الله عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ لَيْسَ سُبْحَانَ الله وَالْحَ٠ْدُ لله وَلا إِلَهَ إِلا الله وَالله أَكْبَرُ فَقَطْ وَلَكِنْ إِذَا وَرَدَ عَلَيْكَ شَيْ‏ءٌ أَ٠َرَ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِهِ أَخَذْتَ بِهِ أَوْ إِذَا وَرَدَ عَلَيْكَ شَيْ‏ءٌ نَهَى الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَنْهُ تَرَكْتَهُ.

So what you do not like to happen to you, do not agree to happen to people also, to cooperate with your fellow believer in matters of properties and to speak of Allah in all conditions: not just saying, ‘Glory belongs to Allah, all praise belongs to Allah and no one deserves to be worshipped except Allah, but that if in case Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, has commanded you to do a certain thing, you must obey the command, and if it is a case you know that Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, has prohibited you to do, you must stay away form it.’” وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (8/341))
