Ø¯Ø Ø¹Ù Ø§ÙØس٠ب٠عÙ٠اÙÙØ´Ø§Ø¡Ø Ø¹Ù Ø£Ø¨Ù Ø§ÙØس٠اÙرضا (عÙÙ٠اÙسÙا٠17. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Safwan ibn Yahya from Ishaq ibn âAmmar who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.) has said, âWe do not know of anything that may increase oneâs lifespan like maintaining good relations with relatives does.
It is so much so that a manâs life span may have only three years been left, but he maintains good relations with relatives, Allah will increase his lifespan to thirty years. The total will be thirty-three years, thus the appointed time for his death will be after thirty-three years.
So, then if he severs family ties, so Allah reduces his lifespan by thirty years and sets his term to three years." Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Muâalla ibn Muhammad from al- Hassan ibn Ali al-Washshaâ from Abu al-Hassan al-Rida (a.s.) a similar Hadith.
