Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief Chapter: Greeting with Handshake 15ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ إِسْ٠ِهْرَانَ عَنْ أَيْ٠ُحْرِزٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠َا صَافَحَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) رَجُلاً قَطُّ فَنَزَعَ يَدَهُ حَتَّى يَكُونَ هُوَ الَّذِي يَنْزِعُ يَدَهُ ٠15.

It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Isma’il ibn Mehran from Ayman ibn Muhriz from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “When shaking hands with people, the Messenger of Allah had never been the first to discontinue the handshake.” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (9/70))
