Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief Chapter: A Believer’s Signs and Qualities 11ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ الْجَ٠َّالِ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠ِنُ الَّذِي إِذَا غَضِبَ لَ٠ْ يُخْرِجْهُ غَضَبُهُ ٠ِنْ حَقٍّ وَإِذَا رَضِيَ لَ٠ْ يُدْخِلْهُ رِضَاهُ فِي بَاطِلٍ وَإِذَا قَدَرَ لَ٠ْ يَأْخُذْ أَكْثَرَ ٠11.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus from Safwan al-Jammal who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘Of believers are only those who even on becoming angry do not deviate from the truth and when they become happy it does not take them into falsehood and when in power they do not take more than what is for them.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (9/241))
