Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief Chapter: A Believer’s Signs and Qualities 35ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَرَفَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) أَ لا أُخْبِرُكُ٠ْ بِي قَالُوا بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ الله قَالَ أَحْسَنُكُ٠ْ خُلُقاً وَأَلْيَنُكُ٠ْ كَنَفاً وَأَبَرُّكُ٠ْ بِقَرَابَتِهِ وَأَشَدُّكُ٠ْ حُبّاً لِإِخْوَانِهِ فِي دِينِهِ وَأَصْبَرُكُ٠ْ عَلَى الْحَقِّ وَأَكْظَ٠ْ لِلْغَيْظِ وَأَحْسَنُكُ٠ْ عَفْواً وَأَشَدُّكُ٠ِنْ نَفْسِهِ إِنْصَافاً فِي الرِّضَا وَالْغَضَبِ.

They replied, ‘Yes, O Messenger of Allah.’ The Holy Prophet then said, ‘It is he whose moral behavior is most excellent, whose sheltering for protection is most gentle, who is most virtuous toward his relatives, of the most intense love for his brothers in religion, who bears the most patience for the truth, who suppresses his anger the most, whose forgiveness is most graceful and whose yielding to justice is most strict in both relaxed and irritated conditions.’” جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (9/279))
