Yunus has narrated from ibn Bukayr from Sulayman ibn Khalid from Abu âAbdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: âThe Imam said that Allah has said, âAllah does not forgive the sin of considering others equal to Him, however.
He may grant exceptions in other forms of sins that He may choose to forgive,...â (4:48) It is a reference to the major sins and the lesser sins.â I (the narrator) asked the Imam, âDoes the above exception apply to any of oneâs major sins?â The Imam said, âYes, it does apply to the major sins.ââ ÙØ«Ù ÙاÙصØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (10/41))
