Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief 19ـ يُونُسُ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَ٠َّارٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) الْكَبَائِرُ فِيهَا اسْتِثْنَاءُ أَنْ يَغْفِرَ لِ٠َنْ يَشَاءُ قَالَ نَعَ٠19.

Yunus has narrated from Ishaq ibn ‘ Ammar who has said the following: “Once I asked Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) ‘Does the exception apply to the major sins and Allah may chose to forgive (whichever He may so choose)?’ The Imam said, ‘Yes, it does apply.’” وثق كالصحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (0/43))
