A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Jaâfar ibn Muhammad al-Ashâari from ibn al-Qaddah from Abu âAbdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: âAmir al-Muâminin, Ali ibn abu Talib (a.s.) has said, âBe concerned and worried about (your relation with) Allah, a worry in which there are no excuses.
Perform good deeds without showing off or publicity; Allah assigns one who performs a deed for something other than Him, to his own deed (and no reward from Allah).ââ ضعÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (0/115))
