Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief 2ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَحْ٠َدَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جَنَاحٍ عَنْ أَخِيهِ أَبِي عَا٠ِرٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠َنْ طَلَبَ الرِّئَاسَةَ هَلَكَ. 2.

It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Ahmad ibn Sa’id ibn Janah from his brother, Abu ‘Amir from a man from Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) who has said the following: "Whoever seeks leadership is destroyed.” رسل - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (10/123))
