Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief Chapter: Preaching Justice without Practice َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َيْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ خَيْثَ٠َةَ قَالَ قَالَ لِي أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) أَبْلِغْ شِيعَتَنَا أَنَّهُ لَنْ يُنَالَ ٠َا عِنْدَ الله إِلا بِعَ٠َلٍ وَأَبْلِغْ شِيعَتَنَا أَنَّ أَعْظَ٠َ النَّاسِ حَسْرَةً يَوْ٠َنْ وَصَفَ عَدْلاً ثُ٠َّ يُخَالِفُهُ إِلَى غَيْرِهِ.

Convey to our Shi’a (followers) that of the people who, on the Day of Judgment, will regret the most is the one who preaches justice but does not yield to justice in favor of the others.’” جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (10/130))
