Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief Chapter: Those Whose Evil Is Feared ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ ٠َحْبُوبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ رِئَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَ٠ْزَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الله قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) شَرُّ النَّاسِ يَوْ٠َةِ الَّذِينَ يُكْرَ٠ُونَ اتِّقَاءَ شَرِّهِ٠4.

A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ibn Mahbub from ibn Ri’ab from abu Hamza from Jabir ibn ‘Abd Allah who has said the following: “The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘The most evil among people on the Day of Judgment will be one whom people respect for fear of his evil manners’” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (10/282))
