Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief Chapter: Failing to Maintain Good Relations with Relatives 8ـ عَنْهُ عَنِ ابْنِ ٠َالِكِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي حَ٠ْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠ِنِينَ (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) إِذَا قَطَّعُوا الأرْحَا٠ْوَالُ فِي أَيْدِي الأشْرَارِ. 8.

It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from ibn Mahbub from Malik ibn ‘Atiyyah from abu Hamza from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following: “Amir al-Mu’minin, Ali ibn abu Talib (a.s.) has said, ‘When they fail to maintain good relations with relatives properties are left under the control of the evil ones.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (0/370))
