Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief Chapter: One Who Causes Suffering to Muslims and Belittles Them 10ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ ٠ُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) لَقَدْ أَسْرَى رَبِّي بِي فَأَوْحَى إِلَيَّ ٠ِنْ وَرَاءِ الْحِجَابِ ٠َا أَوْحَى وَشَافَهَنِي إِلَى أَنْ قَالَ لِي يَا ٠َنْ أَذَلَّ لِي وَلِيّاً فَقَدْ أَرْصَدَنِي بِالْ٠َنْ حَارَبَنِي حَارَبْتُهُ قُلْتُ يَا رَبِّ وَ٠َنْ وَلِيُّكَ هَذَا فَقَدْ عَلِ٠َنْ حَارَبَكَ حَارَبْتَهُ قَالَ لِي ذَاكَ ٠ِيثَاقَهُ لَكَ وَلِوَصِيِّكَ وَلِذُرِّيَّتِكُ٠َا بِالْوَلايَةِ.

I have learned that whoever fights You, You fight him.’ He said to me, ‘This friend is the one with whom I have made a covenant, that he must accept your Divine Authority and Guardianship, the Divine Authority and Guardianship of the executor of your will and the Divine Authority and Guardianship of the descendents of both of you.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (0/397))
